Introduction

Wanbao SLIT Single gap expansion joint is a strip seal joint, which consists of two steel edge profiles with anchor loops or anchor bolts and a replaceable sealing profile. The strong anchor loops or anchor bolts ensure the reliable anchorage of expansion joint with bridge structure. The sealing profile is firmly connected with the steel edge profiles and meanwhile it ensures 100% water‐tightness.

 Wanbao Single gap expansion joint is designed for bridge heavy traffic load and can be used for both bridge structure and building structure. The connecting structure can be concrete or steel.

 Wanbao single gap expansion joint can be designed and manufactured with noise‐reduction plates to reduce the noise greatly when traffic passes.

There are mainly two types of edge profiles for SLIT expansion joints: Hot-rolled profile and welded profile. For normal cases, Hot-rolled profile with painting (Type E) is used to produce the SLIT expansion joint. For special requirements, such as the edge profile can’t meet the block-out dimension or stainless steel is needed for edge profile, welded edge profile (Type F& M) is used.
